The first calculation is a guide value based on the detected data and the stored cost logic: material, cycle time, setup, programming and surcharges. With a STEP model, the geometry is captured more precisely. The binding quote is always reviewed and approved by your team.
Does STARKSPAN replace our estimators?
No. STARKSPAN is assistance software. It takes over the retyping and the preliminary calculation. Reviewing, completing and deciding stay with your people.
Which files can I upload?
PDF drawings, STEP and STP, as well as JPG, PNG and WEBP. You can upload a PDF and a STEP file together for one part.
Can others see our hourly rates and margins?
No. Calculation parameters, customers, quotes and internal costs belong to your company and are not shown publicly or to your customers.
What happens to uploaded drawings?
Drawings are treated confidentially and used only to process the request in question.
Do we need an installation or an ERP system?
No. STARKSPAN runs in the browser. A connection to existing systems via API is planned for larger shops.
Can I use STARKSPAN on my own website?
The website widget is in preparation. Your customers will then upload drawings directly on your site, and you receive the prepared request with a calculation proposal.
What does STARKSPAN cost?
